Worst Bed Ever

Beautiful property with a bed straight from the 1980s complete with springs broken and all. We couldn’t even sleep together in the bed because it was so uncomfortable. We could have have got a room at Howard Johnson’s and slept better

Quiet

Cabin isn’t marked good and parking was awful. Check in was good house was clean but there wasn’t kitchen trash can to use so we had to use cardboard box with trash bag, the couch sit awful and the bed didn’t sleep good (it looked to be broke ), took while for hot water to heat up in shower (hot was the cold and cold was the hot), the toilet (had a smell) seem to loose

Great stay!

We had a really good time! The cabin was really nice and the kitchen had all the things you could possibly need when cooking your own meals there. The hot tub was our favorite part and was a wonderful way to relax at the end of the night.

Gatlinburg Stay

Was required to switch cabins the 1st night dud to the reserved one not being prepared in time due to the mattress being wet from cleaning. The next night when we got to the reserved cabin it was still soaking wet.

Fall break getaway

Overall,nice place. Good cabin for 2 people. Few drawbacks were no hot water in shower, no hairdryer,not the most comfortable bed and a $70 other charge,not sure what it was for. The porch was very nice along with the hot tub. Easy to get into town from cabin. The driveway is very steep and difficult to find,initially.

Anniversary trip

The property itself is a little unkempt and overgrown. The cabin size was perfect for just the two of us. The hot tub was great, but could use some maintenance, probably just air in the lines. I would love to be able to give 5 stars, but that bed! Someone did a repair to the frame so the bed has the feet higher than t your head. We tried to turn the mattress thinking that would fix it. Nope. The box springs on that bed is a crime! If a complete new set of mattresses were put in this cabin, it would be a perfect get away. After being out walking and exploring all day,to be able to have a good comfortable bed to sleep in after that nice hot tub, would have made our stay AMAZING!! And, just a suggestion...a new shower head would do wonders, the water pressure isn't great but a new shower would help. Other than the awful bed, we had a wonderful weekend get away!!! Being with the one you love makes everything bearable and fun!!

Economical stay

Parking and finding the location is the absolute worst. The confirmation thankfully does have a video entrance online you can follow I would recommend all to stop and watch it before going on Parton. Once you know where it's at then you're golden but there are 0 signs where the house is once you're in the area. It's located on a steep hill as well with minimal parking space to be shared with neighbor. Would not recommend more than 1 vehicle for this cabin. Place is nice and exactly what I paid for. It's clean and has the basic necessities ie; fridge, bowls, forks. Hot tub was amazing, nice little corner and next to the room so you can look out the window to check on kids. Large bathroom and the tub can fit 2 people easy. Felt comfortable, it's close to people but not close enough where you can be seen. Place offers games Board games. I would like to mention the window blinds do need to be replaced, it's a inexpensive fix but quite annoying to see 3 broken blinds in different areas. I'm assuming no one has told the property manager this. Also would like to recommend providing coffee filters . Pot and coffee is provided but no filter. Minor fixes overall great stay for the value

Getaway

Our get away was great! Might want to let other people that book know about the momma bear and 4 cubs that hang around. Or put a sign up to watch for bears. We got between the mom and babies getting into the car and it was very scary moment for us. Momma bear about got us.

Nice quiet cabin, easy to get to from Gatlinberg

The property served us fine.I think there are some minor things that need to be attended to. The bushes on the driveway need to be cut back. The toilet rocks and needs to be repaired. The bedside lamps need to be replaced.

Honey moon vacation

The place was very nice, clean and comfortable. Hot tub was clean and worked great! Only thing I would change is the bed, slept great first couple of days then our backs were killing us!

Cute little themed place, off the beaten path which was exceptionally nice. Not too far away from town, multiple places to go within not a great distance. Fantastic view and great porch.

Loved our stay it was a beautiful place

The cabin was adorable. It wasn’t far from all of the attractions etc. I would have given this a 5 star but we did have issues with our key code which was fixed as soon as I spoke to someone.. The person I spoke to was extremely helpful and had our code reset immediately. We will book again in the future! We felt right at home.

Great location for visiting Gatlinburg. CFY provided great service. Cabin layout great for 2 people. Condition of furniture ok but time to look at upgrade.

Save your money

Fees were extremely high for the lack of amenities. The stove had a burner that was not working which was no big deal as I did let management know that the others were working. The couch and bed were extremely uncomfortable. Almost felt as though you were sitting on the floor while watching Tv. The decor matched that of a cabin however and was fitting however, TAKE DOWN THE CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS. Candy canes and Santa’s… It’s September. You could tell the housekeeping did not take pride or care in any personal touches. The welcome blocks on the mangel said “come well” which was another indication that housekeeping did not pay attention to detail. Mold was all over the shower curtain. Huge spider webs and spiders all over the porch and outside furniture. Not even a complimentary pot of coffee. All around unkempt feeling. Needles to say the handwritten “thanks for the tip” envelope was more than a little tacky. This would be a beautiful retreat for any couple of it was kept a little better and someone cared for the property.

Cute and quant little cabin with much privacy and relaxing amenities!

Loved this property! It was very cute and such a perfect size for my husband and I on our honeymoon! The driveway is a little steep but the cabin is located in a cute little neighborhood that’s very private. Even on the porch I felt very comfortable and relaxed near the trees! Loved the bathroom with the jacuzzi jet tub, and the rest of the house was charming and comfy! All the kitchen necessities were there and they even provided a bag with a few essentials which was very nice! The only issue was these little centipede dudes kept coming in the bathroom, I think through the vents on the floor but that’s understandable in a cabin in the woods and they didn’t do anything or bite so it was all good! Definitely would recommend!

phenomenal for the price

I really don’t understand why half the reviews are the way they are. This cabin was more than plentiful, everything was beautiful, the hot tub was fantastic, the jacuzzi tub was clean, the kitchen was woefully stocked with utensils, the dryer dries super quickly!! Other than a few aesthetic details (a small hole in the first layer of the double layered window in the bathroom, some broken blinds, a broken closet door, etc.) everything was wonderful. There was a complimentary goodie bag, there was most definitely not flex tape on the shower (lol). You’re about 25 minutes out from everything with a food city 5 minutes away. Great place, I will definitely be coming back.

hot tub wasn't working properly it wasn't fixed until the next day so i lost 24hrs without it and they wouldn't reimburse me for it it was the only amenity i asked for ! we lost a day for evacuation of the fire never got reimbursed for that but i did get offered a free day too come back and sit in a cold hot tub sorry for the sarcasm only get these lil trips once a year and this is what i put up with

Perfect for two!

My wife and I stayed here for a weekend and it was all we needed. It was cozy and the hot tub at night was great! It was better than we expected due to some of the other reviews. We will be back!
