“We stayed one night while on our way to McCarthy. The area offered beautiful surroundings, a calm lake to paddle around on and area to hike around the lake. The rooms were very nicely decorated but no running water in the room. The restroom and shower cabin was a shared building but each bathroom had a private assigned stall. This was an interesting rustic concept but for a longer stay this would not be a good option for me. Not a deal breaker but just a FYI. They did provide a nice breakfast……

“The most unique thing about the property was the owner, Carol. From the moment I entered until the time I left I felt like I was home and visiting with a friend. The property is beautiful, the rooms are comfortable and clean, the check in instructions were very clear, and the homemade breakfast was delicious!! (menu changed every day and if you had to leave early Carol would pack up a breakfast for you. I stayed 3 nights, great pricing, and again the most Amazing host!! And I will add that……
