“Nice place ”

“Very nice hotel, spacious. Only has one air conditioner in the living room but lucky it is autumn so we are fine to it.”

“Very convenient for our walking trips (only 10-15 minutes drive to all our trackheads). Good hot shower for the end of the day. It _was_ noisy in the 90 km/h winds, but kept warm with the heater on. Bed was comfy. Kitchen space was a little small, but still quite adequate.”

“Great property, facilities and supplies were very good. Our main issue was the bunk beds do not have much head height on the lower bunk, and we could not use the top bunks for the kids as the safety rails only just reached the top of the mattress and they would fall out if rolled in the night. Otherwise very happy with the cabin and hosts.”

“The garden flat had everything I could have needed. Even though the weather was cold, the heater, throws and electric blankets made it incredibly cosy. Edwina was very helpful with any queries I had. And the lovely hot shower was wonderful after a long day hiking!”

“Thank goodness all the wood was free! Very chilly without wood fire. Once a fire going very cozy. Brand new bathroom! Will be super nice once it is all renovated! Kitchen nice but upgrade in appliances available would be good for those that want to cook. Loved the big fridge. Felt very safe and love Blackheath.”

“We booked to stay and hold our wedding here and it could not have been more perfect! The house was like something out of a magazine and as the most amazing backdrop for our ceremony. All our friends and family commented all weekend on how beautiful the house was. We had about 40 people attend our small wedding, about half adults and half kids, the kids loved running around in the backyard and the adults relaxed on the deck and in the backyard. “We absolutely loved our stay at Oatley Place. The house exceeded our expectations, we loved the character of the property. Everything we could need was thought of such as hair dryers etc. The backyard was perfect for our dog to explore and she enjoyed soaking up the sun on the back deck. Located close to Katoomba shops and Echo Point. Already planning a return trip.”

“Just checked out this morning and spent the weekend there for UTA. Short walk to Scenic World and this year the 100km race went past the house so we could cheer people from the front driveway. House is so warm with the central heating throughout. It was just the two of us but the house is huge and caters for many more. Very comfortable stay. Cleaners just need to check under furniture and bedrooms for any rubbish and lost property as we found some on our arrival. This wouldn't stop us from……
