We recently stayed here for our wedding night, to say we were disappointed would be an understatement. we booked thru a 3rd party for the room, there was no mention of any additional charges on that 3rd party booking site or the hotel's website. So imagine my surprise when we were immediately hit with an "incidentals" charge for $125 dollars, and the front desk woman made it very clear we couldn't check in without paying this, I tried to explain to her that I have already paid for the room in full on this 3rd party site and was told " well that's our policy and you can't check in without paying it. it will be returned immediately upon check out " So we had no choice but to keep the reservation for our room, to then only be told there are no elevators on the property and my disabled husband and I were going to have to climb 3 flights of stairs to our room, when I attempted to inquire about a change to a lower level i was told they were "fully booked". So we tried to make the best or our wedding night, the room was overpriced, showed signs of previous water damage, a tiny bathroom that only fits one person at a time, no screen on the window so even if we wanted fresh air we couldn't have it, bed linens that didn't even cover the mattress completely and a half filled hot tub that no one seemed to care was empty. The only high point was the excellent service we received from Vanessa at the resort restaurant for our wedding night meal. We still haven't gotten our money back.
