We enjoyed our stay. The house is in a lovely neighborhood close to downtown. The connected houses have plenty of room and some old Florida charm.
Different threshold heights and unexpected changes in porch heights, due to connecting the two houses, may be an issue for any who have mobility or balance issues. Highlighting the places where elevations change unexpectedly would help.
We were grateful that the house has wheelchair access so we could bring our mother there to visit. And the large pool was wonderful! Check-in and check-out were easy.
The kitchen could use a few more mixing bowls, pots and pans, and cooking utensils. Impressively, however, additional eating utensils and glassware were delivered just a day after I mentioned the shortage to a staff person for the host. She also delivered the deep pot we needed.
When we arrived the gas stove burners did not work reliably and the oven not at all. I reported this to the host's assistant and she arranged for a new unit to be delivered -- unfortunately not until the day before we left but for everyone to come there is a new gas unit
Finally, I don't know where host Nicholas was before, during, and after our visit, but he was non-responsive, except for some formulaic emails. At one point he said he'd contact me but didn't. He should not be the contact person. On the other hand, the two staff persons I dealt with, Michelle and Julie, were very responsive. Kudos to them!
