“Our stay at Reid 's Palace was nothing short of exquisite! From the moment we stepped onto the property, until we departed, we experienced only the finest of service and accommodation. We were on the first 3 days of our honeymoon and every moment was memorable. The views - the twinkling lights at dusk, the lovely breakfasts ... I could go on and on. We received lovely handwritten notes of congratulations on beautiful stationery, and a bottle of champagne beautifully presented in an ice bucket.……

Would definitely consider going back to Madeira and this hotel but there are so many destinations to reach before that happens!!”

“A bit cramped but for exploring Funchal the location is excellent- we booked a room with a double bed and got a room with two singles which spoilt our arrival but we got a double bed the next night after contacting Expedia. Breakfast was nothing to write home about but it sufficed”
