“This was a perfect place to stop in Newark. The owners welcome you so warmly and you feel like you are family whilst there. The room was so lovely and the bath was wonderful. Breakfast was cooked to perfection and the homemade marmalade was excellent. We certainly will go back there again. ”

“Was very comfortable and spacious. The decor could do with an update but had all facilities we needed. Nice comfy beds and shower was nice and powerful. Would stay again. We had a family of 4 and plenty of room. ”

“31 Castle Gate gave us a very clean and comfortable 2 night stay . Private and quiet accommodation clear instruction re parking facilities. Easy access to shops, cafe and relaxing meal/ drink in the evening sat by the canal. Initial access wasn't granted by the code given but a very quickly answered call gave us access for the stay. Thank you to Daniel - very helpful and he also checked in with us to make sure access was ok . Would use the accommodation again . ”

“This was a beautiful period property decorated in a modern style. The furniture was lovely and the bed comfy. The shower was more than adequate and the fridge and hot drink making facilities were appreciated. Very clean. Gorgeous location overlooking the loch. Cafes serving breakfast were very close and the town was full of pubs and restaurants. We loved our stay here!”

“Hotel chosen for location. We stayed on a Saturday night, hadn’t realised that it was an Indian restaurant and takeaway with motel style rooms next door. The car park was packed, the guy who checked us in wasn’t particularly friendly and was more interested in the customers for the restaurant. However, the room was large as was the bathroom and it was a bed for the night. Would we stay again? Probably not. I was able to move my car to a space outside the room once the restaurant had closed. It’s……
