It was a very quiet area and has direct access to the river, which we loved. It was great for my father who is getting older and doesn’t get around as well as he used to. “Had a wonderful stay in peak autumn with our young kids. The cottage felt like home. I loved that the property has a beautiful view on the hill but a nice flat spot of lawn for the kids to run on at the lake. We enjoyed taking the paddle boat around the island. Quiet area, very peaceful. Clean comfortable living quarters. Thank you for sharing your cottage!”

“First time VRBO customer. Process for booking was easy, description of property was accurate. Communication with host was superb. Any issues we had were quickly taken care of. It was as you would expect a cabin to be: minimalistic. All flatware, cooking and BBQ utensils, pot, pan and baking sheet were provided. Pots are sized for cabins. If you intend to cook large group meals bring your own. Very close to water, kayaks & life vests available. Paddle boat available for use. ”

“My group found this to be the perfect spot for a weekend get away. The deck and dock are fantastic and the hot tub was very clean. The park across the street is great for all ages. If you wanted to hit a beach there is a public park 5 minutes away with a nice one. I would recommend this property to anyone and would 100% book again!”

“We were all very impressed with the house, the property, and all of the amenities. Kitchen was stocked very well. The lake was excellent for kayaks. The fire pit was a big hit also. We had a fire every night and had plenty of wood. The outdoor shower was very useful too. The only thing I might add is another bathroom.”

“The house was wonderful and perfect for our family vacation! It’s conveniently located near the beach and downtown. The owner, Nicole and the property manager, Lisa were both great with communication throughout our stay even going above and beyond what we expected. The house was very clean, the basement was perfect for our kids to hangout in on those rainy days and the yard was a great size for yard games and nights around the fire pit.”

“Location perfect. Across the street from a park. Within easy walking distance of Pierre Marquette Beach and even closer to another nice smaller beach- the Cove-where the water is a little warmer. Beach restaurant also very close. Spent a lot of time on the deck of the property. On the channel between Lakes Michigan and Muskeegon, so great place for walks. Owner met us there and was easy to communicate with.”
