BURN BAN EFFECTIVE 1/3/2025: Gillespie County has issued a burn ban due to severe fire hazards and red flag warnings in the Hill Country. As a result, outdoor wood-burning fire pits are not permitted. This mandate is enforced by the city and county and is beyond our control. Restrictions: NO open fires and NO smoking. You are welcome to use gas fire pits and BBQ grills. For charcoal grills, please leave all hot coals in the grill to cool completely, we will handle proper disposal.
