“Great hotel !!”

“Had to move to 4 different rooms, 1st room had horrible smell. When checking in desk clerk went to check if room had been cleaned and said room had a bad smell she thought was coming from garbage disposal and said she was going to pour some bleach down and try to kill the smell. When we got back hours later to go to our room smell was still bad. Staff offered to move us to another room and the TV did not work. Move to 2 more different rooms to find on with working TV. Staff was nice and……

“The room was clean and all the staff I encountered were friendly and helpful. I liked the setup, it was nice having both a private door to the outside and a door to the inside of the hotel.”

“Our room smelled strongly musty. Either the carpets are moldy or the A/C unit needs cleaned or replaced. The rest of the room was fairly clean. Breakfast was average for hotel food but there was only one option for coffee creamer--shelf stable liquid creamer, which is full of chemicals and not really food. Overall, disappointed! Room was expensive and yet smelly.”

“The property is a repurposed historic home and the rooms very unique in the best way. Staff was so accommodating from housekeeping to restaurant and bar servers. Also, it's just a short walk to local shopping, restaurants and historic sites. We'll definitely be back.”

“The St. Clair in Frankfort is a charming boutique stay in a beautifully restored historic building, with loft-style studios full of character, an easy walk to downtown restaurants, and a convenient drive to nearby bourbon distilleries and Churchill Downs. There’s even a hidden speakeasy on-site, if you can solve the riddle to get in! Just know that, as with many historic loft properties, you may hear some noise from guests staying above you.”

“Very convenient to the Frankfort area and areas surrounding. Loved the historic aspect of Frankfort and surrounding areas. Bourbon distilleries and eating very close and easy to get to. ”

“Info provided for directions was helpful since GPS did get confused... ours switched the names of the last 2 roads, but we were prepared and found it even though it was dark! It is a small condo, but worked for our purpose of a place to stay while touring some distilleries. Suggestion to help with the tiny bathroom... maybe another mirror with a table/shelf outside the bathroom or a table/ shelf in the bedroom so you could use the mirror there. Thank you! ”

“This cabin is darling. Updated and very clean. Had everything you may need during your stay. We unfortunately had a very rainy stay so we didn’t get to use the outdoor fire pit area but it sure looked nice. Perfect little getaway for two ❤️”

“Parking was great. We were able to walk right into the cute town of Frankfort. The bathroom is quite small and slightly outdated. Other than that, Bourbon On The Hill was perfect for girls weekend! ”
