“The historic brownstone had tremendous charm and was lovely. There was a problem with the heat not working and repeated requests for something to be done were met with conflicting information about possible repairs, but nothing was done. Luckily the temperatures rose during the day, which helped keep it a little more comfortable.”

“The stay was great. Owner was great at communications. Very clean. Easy drive into Boston. Needed more towels and wash cloths which the owner brought. ”

“The unit is nice and spacious. Very clean. Interior decoration could really use some work. Furniture was cheap. There were exposed hanging hooks all over the bedroom. But other than that it’s quite comfortable. Very strange third party check-in process. Coffee machine didn’t work. Did not provide dishwasher pods or coffee filters. But the real issue is the location. Area feels dangerous. Plan your days carefully and make sure to get a car whenever you leave the unit.”

“I forgot to do this when I got home from my trip. It was myself, my girlfriend and mother who stayed here for a few days to attend Rhode Island Comic Con. The house is only a 10 mintue drive from the convention center. It's a very nice and cozy place, with big beautiful couches, one reclines, and a GIANT beautiful tv in the living room. The other rooms were also nice with dressers and closets. There wasn't much to complain about really. The front steps are kind of steep, then short so you……

“We found it very charming and comfortable. We had a wonderful time and the view was amazing. Loved all the special touches it felt like home. ”

“My family and I spent fall break at this rental coming from the west coast. It had a lot of room for us all, a good size kitchen and plenty of room for everyone on the couch. We never ran out of towels or blankets and there were a lot of things to cook with in the kitchen. Host replied very quickly to any questions. Neighborhood was quiet, not much to walk to you would need to drive for the nearest store or restaurant but it felt completely safe. Only cons I would say were the windows……

“This was a very spacious, clean appartment in a great neighborhood with stores and deli nearby. The host did not leave the wifi username and password in the appartment, so when we contacted her she provided several passwards which did not work, so we did not get internet access until the second day when I called her. She should post this info on the refridgerator or in a guest book as most hosts do. There was one large TV in the living room but it did not work (which we did not discover until……

Disappointing. Broken Air Conditioning.

"The room has a smell of cigarette smoking and the air conditioning was broken in our room. We managed to move into another room with a floor cooler. When we were packing to move, a person who claimed to be the manager of the hotel called our room and told us to vacate the room right that moment. He was very impolite. In the room which we switched to, it still felt hot like outside at 33 degrees as the window was not securely taped, therefore there was a leak in the window caused by the air duct of the floor cooler."
