Exceptional house!
Absolutely stunning property in a central location in Fowey, with the most beautiful views. The house is beautifully furnished and very well equipped - we especially loved the Quooker tap. Very comfy beds, with quality cotton bedding. Kim was very helpful and we hired a boat for the week from Maurice (Fowey River Boat Hire), which we were able to moor to the property which was ideal. Wonderful bakeries, restaurants to suit all tastes and shops are on your door step. We parked in a local carpark (which was very reasonable) and didn’t move the car all week, which was a joy! We had an amazing week and didn't want to leave! I am sure we will be back. rom M

Amazing location for your perfect stay
We stayed at Albert Group as 3 couples and it was amazing, Kim was very helpful and sent over all the information needed. There is a small sort stay car park just a few yard from the property which is free parking between 6pm and 9 am so we managed to offload on arrival and left our car overnight. The main long stay car park is just a 5 minute walk away and we paid via phone app for the week which was roughly about £42. The accommodation is in a stunning location and has everything you could need, We hired a boat for the day using someone Kim recommended and the boat was dropped off right outside Albert place and we had a lovely day sailing up the estuary and back, we also went on a walk suggested in the guide which involves getting the ferry over to Polruen and walking round the estruary, the views are fantastic and was a great way to spend the day, Fowey itself is lovely and quaint, lots of local shops including an amazing bakery just opposite and would recommend the fish and chips shop and Haveners to eat out, we also visited the Lost Gardens of Heligan which is another great day out, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definately be returning.

Fantastic location
Five of us spent a lovely week in Fowey over New Year. The house is amazing. So clean, comfy and with everything you need. The location couldn't be better, opposite the brilliant Quay bakery and right on the river. We would definitely book again.

Fantastic property, fantastic location
This is a wonderful place to stay ! The house is spotless and so well equipped. It was so comfortable and in such an amazing spot with everything literally on your doorstep. Plenty of shops and places to eat. The owner was very helpful . Parking wasn't an issue. There is a car park just a few meters from the house where we parked and emptied the car then there are other places where the car can be left for the duration of the stay. There are amazing views from the kitchen and the bedrooms. Would highly recommend and would happily return.

Perfect spot in a perfect harbor village
The home was modern, clean, and comfortable. Kim was very helpful and made good suggestions. The home is in a perfect spot in the middle of Fowey with its narrow streets, amazing views, and good pubs and bakeries. We loved both the home and the village. Has some great walks around town and would love to have stayed a couple weeks. Parking is not convenient, but that is due to the central location and totally worth it in the end.

What a view!

Lovely stay
We had a fantastic stay! The house itself was spacious and comfortable and is in the centre of town, on the doorstep of local restaurants and shops making everything very accessible. As others have noted, you need to park in the nearby car park, but you can pay easily through a parking app; the downside was that it proved more challenging trying to load and unload the car whilst traffic piled up behind us!

River dream hoilday
This was our second family hoilday at this house in as many year's. We will back again! Says it all. Fowey is an amazing base to explore Cornwall. There are also fantastic restaurants and pubs in town.

A short overview
The property is in a great position, has superb views and is handy for everything and plenty to do for a week. If you do not want to drive the station of Par is a short taxi ride away. There were 2 negatives and one not that crucial but if you want to sit out on the terrace and enjoy the view having 2 metal chairs that were very uncomfortable could be improved. The only other point is you are next to the Quay Hotel who very early in the mornings on some days the staff were very loud and continued to empty all the glass bottles into a big bin. This would not deter me from coming back as it was a lovely property but if they were a little mindful it would be perfect property to rent

Fantastic house, fantastic location!!!
This was our second time to Fowey, and we loved it just as much this time as we did the first time we came! The house is absolutely beautiful and had everything we needed, as well as a fantastic veiw from the balcony, and the owner was really helpful with any questions we had prior to arriving. We bought inflatable kayaks with us and were able to use these easily from the balcony using the metal steps down from there to access the water. The kids even paddled and dug in the sand at the bottom at low tide on a couple of occasions. The house it’s self is right in the middle of Fowey and couldn’t be better placed for the shops and restaurants and it wasn’t too far to walk to Readymoney cove to spend some time on the beach. We absolutely loved our stay here and would definitely come back again!

Having been holidaying in Fowey for 20yrs + We have now found the perfect family holiday cottage - in the center of Fowey in arguably the best waterfront location - very tastefully decorated, clean and with everything you need you will not be disappointed.

The Perfect Accommodation!
2 Albert Place is perfectly situated, right in the heart of Fowey, close to all amenities and yet very quiet with stunning views across the estuary from the kitchen and two bedrooms. The cottage was impeccably clean, very well decorated and with all the comforts and mod cons to make your stay relaxing and hassle free. Also the owner, Kim, is very easy to deal with and communication is excellent.I will definitely be returning!

Brilliant.
Beautifully presented to a very high standard, spacious, well equipped and very comfortable. Located in a brilliant position on the waters edge no need to use your car. Wonderful bakery opposite, shops, pubs and restaurants within easy walking distance. We were even treated to a magnificent firework display on New Years Eve which we enjoyed together with a celebratory glass of champagne on the balcony!

Stunning, fantastic location, spotless, 2nd visit and hopefully not our last.
Absolutely love 2, Albert Place. The perfect peaceful location, but with everything on your door step. The house is spotless, beautifully decorated and furnished, with everything you need for your holiday. I miss coming down to the view from the balcony. Stunning on a sunny day, or when the sea mist is clearing, equally beautiful. So many places to eat. We especially love Sams. Lots of lovely walks and great crabbing from the Albert Dock. Hopefully we will be back for a return visit soon. Jenny
