“Our stay at this mountain cabin was nothing short of magical! Surrounded by breathtaking views, the location offered peace and tranquility, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The cabin itself was cozy, clean, and well-equipped with everything we needed, from a fully stocked kitchen to a comfortable living area with a warm fireplace. ”

“We loved everything about this rental… location, layout, decor, bed, shower, and hot tub! We will definitely be back next year!”

“Loved the location and the view off the porch especially. Many deer passed through. Several problems unfortunately. 1)The door code and door lock were inoperable. Had to call Vacasa and get key to lock box and physical key. Even then, the door would not lock behind us. 2) Internet did not work until third day of stay. Again, this required phone time with Vacasa. 3) Hot water tap in second bedroom would not produce hot water. 4) Both tubs had unpleasant black mold on grout and caulk that might……

“The Hobbit House is just as unique and interesting as the photos show! Loaded with all the amenities for a comfortable stay with tv’s in every room, games galore and our favorite…. The outside fireplace and kitchen. We used it everyday and only cooked inside 1 morning. We went post Helene and grocery stores were opened and a lot of hiking trails were in the stages of clearing. We loved Grandfather Mountain park, it’s worth the entry fee. ”

“We had a great day for a girls trip. The cabin was decorated very cute and was very convenient to downtown blowing rock everywhere that we need to be. The cabin was also very well equipped. We didn’t use the hot tub, but it looked very warm.”

“If u r looking for some space to sleep and cook this will fit those needs. Nothing fancy but clean enough. Had a comfortable stay. Bedroom not great for a light sleeper because of the traffic lights and sounds 30ft outside windows. Not a very busy road so not too disruptive.”

“Unfortunately we came during hurricane Helene. We had no power or water but our host was very receptive to messages and provided us with as much info as possible. Praying for all those affect in Western NC. ”

“7 of us stayed at this property and we found it to be provide plenty of space for all of us. We loved the sunroom with the fireplace; I do wish it wasn't out of service but nonetheless it was still a nice space. Located in a quiet safe neighborhood and close to local attractions/ would definitely consider staying here again! ”

“We loved everything about this place. It is on the most beautiful spot with a small creek running behind it. The deck and outdoor seating areas expand the home. The house itself fit our six perfectly, and the living room was cozy with tons of games and puzzles. We hope to come back again!”

“Was charged as though the reservation was made, but I never received a confirmation of any sort, nor a checkin notice/instructions. The system sort of stopped and froze, but the property charged my credit card, so be aware. Vrbo doesn't know how to proceed without a reservation number, and referred me to the property host, who referred me back to Vrbo. This has been a vicious cycle so far.”
