Our stay at the Westin was disappointing. Upon opening the refrigerator in our room, we found stale food left over from a previous guest, and the unpleasant smell quickly spread throughout the room. We informed the reception and asked for it to be cleaned while we were out for dinner. Although the receptionist apologized and assured us it would be taken care of, we returned to find the issue unresolved, with the odor lingering. Frustrated, we went back to the reception and requested the cleaning again, staying there this time until it was finally addressed.
The receptionist apologized again and promised to waive the resort fee for the night as compensation. However, when we received the bill, the resort fee was still charged. This lack of follow-through and attention to detail was extremely disappointing, especially from a brand like Westin, where we expected a higher standard of service and customer care.
