“The location is beautiful. The towels weren’t pleasant to use so bring your own. The home is beautiful but with all the stairs it was stressful to keep our toddler away from them which is my fault for not reviewing the listing better. I’ve never used this service before and it was a quick getaway. For the amount we paid to stay one night I won’t likely use the VRBO again, but it was a nice experience. ”

“We drove out from Texas for a long weekend getaway and this cabin was the perfect home base. It’s tucked away in a cute town between Manitou Springs and Woodland Park. It was the perfect size for our family of 5–not too big, not too small—and had everything we needed. We loved working a puzzle together and streaming movies in the living room. “Chipita Park Cabin was the perfect place for our family on Spring Break! The check in process was smooth, the house is stocked with all the essentials, and is very clean. We really enjoyed sitting in the sunroom in the morning and evening. There are also several hiking trails nearby which we loved. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. I would stay here again when in the area. Cannot recommend this place enough! ”

“I loved the location of the treehouse tucked away in the ‘compound’ shared with a few other small houses. The view of the mountains from the deck were incredible and there wasn’t much noise from traffic etc. 10 mins or less to Old Colorado City, grocery stores, bars, and restaurants. Perfect for a quiet getaway near Garden of the Gods and other mountain vistas. Inside there was a great deal of dust on the kitchen shelves and the ceiling fan. “The house was great! It fit all our needs. It was stocked with more staples (foil, seasoning, laundry detergent, etc) than many house rentals we’ve previously stayed in. The fire place and hot tubs were easy to use and working well. The beds were comfortable. Definitely take the owners warning of needing a 4 wheel drive in snow! We saw many wild turkeys wondering around which the kids went crazy over. The only issue we had was the living room carpet sheds ALOT. When the kids would sit on the……

“Loved the proximity to Manitou and Colorado Springs. House had all the necessary amenities and more. Loved the split level. It was just my family of 3 for this trip, but had room for a much larger group. Nice quiet neighborhood. ”
