Relaxing Stay
It was very nice and relaxing. Enjoyed as everything described in listing. Easy drive to area attractions. Only negative was the back porch was very dirty. That said, we did mention it to the property manager and they offered to come and clean it. Would definitely stay again.

Home Away From Home
We used the property as a rest stop during a tour of Mendocino County and it was a delight to stay at. Being so close to the beach was a delight to add to our morning walks and it was a short distance to Fort Bragg where we spent a day, enjoying the town. All in all, I highly recommend!!

Great stay
We really enjoyed our stay at this home. The pictures are accurate as it's a bit dated but spacious and has everything we needed. We enjoyed walking in the quiet neighborhood and down to the private beach. We even had sunshine which was the icing on the cake. Didn't mind the 10 minute drive into Fort Bragg business area.

Great location and room for all
Dolphin Manor lived up to expectations. We have stayed in this neighborhood before, but needed a bigger place this time and Dolphin Manor was perfect. Lots of room to spread out, the beds were very comfortable, plenty of hot water for all 8 of us. The home IS slightly dated, the carpet had stains, but overall it was clean and comfortable for out stay.

Very clean, comfortable home. Nice quiet neighborhood with awesome beach access. Far enough away from town to avoid the business, but close enough to run to the store real quick if need be. Will definitely be staying again.

Beautiful home and great location
This home was perfect for myself, husband, 20 month old daughter and parents. The home was perfect for children. Everything was out of reach and the home is spacious with clean soft carpet and comfortable furniture. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the necessary cooking essentials. The private beach was amazing. Being able to just walk to a nearly secluded beach is perfect, especially with a little one. It is a short drive to Fort Bragg and a 30 minute drive to Mendocino but it’s such a beautiful drive it feels much shorter. Would highly recommend this home for a beach getaway with a family.

Dolphin House Manor. hello.
Cannot say much good about this house. Using kitchen utensils and pots and pans they were not clean and kitchen floor was very sticky and dirty. Also the house was not clean as there were spiderwebs and dust around the corners and windows. The garbage can almost completely full and was incredibly rancid full of flies and maggots. We had an infestation of bugs which were known about previously and we were never contacted. They should have let us know since it was only a week before we were coming we could’ve made other arrangements.

Wonderful
I loved how close the beach was, town was only 10 minutes away, and the house has everything you could need. The wifi is ok, I have 3 teenagers constantly on their phones or tablet so on the last day I got a text from the owner about us exceeding the monthly data limit, so we switched to hotspot and that worked great. The house was pretty clean. I did notice some stains on the bedding of one of the window beds and unfortunately it was sewed onto the pad so I couldn’t take it off and wash it. We ended up covering it with blankets and moved on. Other than that the house was clean and perfect for us.

Disappointed
Unfortunately, due to not one, but TWO deaths in my immediate family, we were unable to visit this property. I contacted customer service for both VRBO and Vacasa because the property was managed by both companies. They were both entirely useless in accommodating any type of resolution. There was no credit offered, no refund of the cleaning fee, etc. Even airlines make exceptions with a death certificate. I am extremely disappointed and dissatisfied with the lack of compassion shown by the property managers of this rental. I would understand with such a high end property that there would be a fee to cover daily costs but to keep the entirety of our payment is greedy beyond belief. I will not be recommending this property for future rentals nor would I recommend VRBO for the lack of options for similar situations.

House is dated
House itself is very clean! Very outdated. Looks like its fresh out of the 70's/80's. It says its walking distance from the beach which is true but it makes it sound like there is beach access from the property which there isnt. You would have to walk on the 2 lane road which isnt safe. There is no cell phone service even on their wifi. Theres only 1 tv in the house and it is hard to use. Even when we tried to log into our netflix, everything needs a passcode and i wasn't given one. Plus side is everything was clean, the beds were comfortable. The stove takes forever to cook on the oven took a long time just to pre heat. The listing says 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms. There is one bathroom in the master bedroom, one in the hallway and a half bath in the cold garage. Almost all the cabinets have bicycle locks on it. It didnt feel very homey at all. Felt cold and uninviting.

Neat but dated, poor wifi
The property is neat and surfaces are clean, good kitchen set up. It's very quiet, easy access to the beach and easy to find. The outdated stove top, mildewy washer and poor wifi was a dissappointment. The third bathroom is in the garage, super funky and in cold weather would be a problem to use. Would not stay there again unless the appliances are updated and wifi issue are resolved.
