「The house was in a convenient location to several of the wineries we wanted to visit and a comfortable size for the two of us. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to use the back porch and private yard because of the cold and snow, but it would be wonderful during nice weather. Our only issue was with the road noise. The house is directly on Highway 14, which makes for noticeable road noise during the day, but better at night with less traffic. 」

The host was absolutely phenomenal as far as giving advice as to what was in the area along with knowledge of his house and even sent information prior to check-in. 「Everything was good except the bed mattress especially the bunk house were too hard and the pillows had no firmness. Maybe adding a foam topper and upgraded pillows would make a big difference. 」

Two pans and the toaster tray were dirty. Tub with shower were slippery due to liquid bath soap. Otherwise it was great. And I loved the view.」

The bed was so comfy, we cooked a few meals in the apt as well, and enjoyed a lovely morning walk around the pond into the neighboring field/park they’ve cleared.
