The host, Daniel, was simply a delight to meet and chat with, and gave us some really good recommendations for site-seeing which we were able to use further into our trip. The Mill House is very large, and we loved having the huge kitchen and living areas. The bathrooms were a bit dicey to be honest, but what can you expect in an historic house? Patricia and Roger are wonderful hosts, very helpful and just lovely, interesting people. They really care about their guests. “The setting is beautiful. Within driving distance of the major sites. The pictures show the eclectic decor which was such a nice compliment to the accommodations. The kitchen was well equipped and the roomy walk in shower was unexpected but much appreciated.”

“The place was clean and warm at night. The kitchen had everything we needed for meals during our stay. We had a small issue with a sink and the owners quickly dealt with it and it did not affect our stay. The site says you are in New Ross but you are actually 15 minutes south. This made it a nice location to go to Kilkenny in an hour, Waterford in 35 minutes, and Kilmore Quay in about 40 mintes. We even made the Rock of Cashel in a little over an hour.
