“Verona House is huge and extremely well equipped to cater for a large group: the kitchen has plenty of crockery, glassware, saucepans, cutlery & saucepans etc. plus tea, coffee etc. The lounge is large with a woodburning fire but because of its size was rather difficult to heat, especially as we chose probably the coldest weekend of the winter so far to stay there. Conversely there is no air conditioning in the house, apart from the loft room, which could make it uncomfortable in the heat of……

“We had a fantastic family get together with grandparents, children and grandchildren. 21 of us in total. We cooked together in the excellent kitchen, played pool, went in the spa, played tennis and ping pong and went for lively bush walks that were suitable for all ages. This is a fabulous spot on a mountain top. Beautiful views from the main area of the house and all the balconies and lots of the bedrooms. Sooo wonderful to have ensuites in almost every room. “We enjoyed our stay. Perfect place for our group of 8. Separate areas to escape and enjoy our different interests. Beds were heavenly comfortable. We enjoyed the french country charm of the decor. It was extra charming having the cellar door next door where we could slip in and sample the wonderful wines of Bonvilla in front of the cosy fire and be educated by the lovely and friendly cellar manager.
