Alexandria is only 10 minutes away. It has big city amenities with a small town feel. You can find grocery, hardware, and sporting goods stores. Also rental and repair shops for boats, bikes, water toys and autos. With plenty of restaurants and bars the nightlife is inviting. The boutiques, antique shops and specialty store make this town a shopper paradise.
With many parks, bike trails, and even an amusement park, you can always find something to do in town.
A excellent winery is only a 20 minute drive and a couple micro-brew houses are right in Alex.
Andes Tower Hills is a only a10 minute drive for skiing, snowboarding and tubing for some winter time fun.
