“The property itself was BEAUTIFUL. Very clean and it was walkable to the Gay Street and Old City areas which is what we wanted as we were celebrating a birthday. Our biggest hiccup was involving parking. You have to park, go into the building and enter the room and find a garage remote (it wasn’t located where our instructions told us so we panicked for a minute), then go back and get your car and then you can enter the garage. We walked to eat on Gay St., got treats at Kilwin's, hung out watching football and playing games, Door Dashed late night pasta and pizza... “We had an excellent stay at the Downtown Retreat! The property was exactly as described in the listing. Extremely clean with lots of personal touches. The home was equipped with everything we needed plus more. The neighborhood was safe and quiet and we enjoyed walking our dog around the area. “Enjoyed our stay in Knoxville it was easy to walk to the two games we went to and the parking garage was close and very easy to work with for parking. Unit was nice and clean. If there were directions for the TV we didn’t find them but didn’t miss it either enough to find out more. One thing we would have liked were some better glassware, especially wine glasses. Other than that the kitchen was well appointed ”

“We were in town for a graduation and this space worked out perfectly. The location was great and it was nice to have on street parking too. ”

“We were impressed with the security of the building .Upon walking in to our apartment, it looked just as beautiful as the pictures online . We stayed Christmas Eve and Christmas Day . I was pleasantly surprised to see a beautiful decorated Christmas tree set up for us ! The decor was lovely ! The bed was very comfortable and nice linens too. The kitchen was well appointed. The bathroom was neat and clean . Would definitely recommend. Located right by a few bars , restaurants.”

“Owner was quick and responsive to my questions. Overall, property was as advertised and was in a central location to our activities. The property could use a full-length mirror - that would definitely help when getting dressed. Also, the closet needs hangers included, I didn't think to pack my own from home. Other than that, we had an enjoyable stay and would recommend it to others. ”
