There was a dart tournament being held at the time of our stay. Many, many, many, smokers hanging around all the entrances. Parking was horrendous. Loud hallways. We were in town for a soccer tournament, my son did not get a lot of quality sleep. The inside of our room was clean, but the hallways, stairways, meaning the carpets were old and not kept up and the walls could have used a touch up. The cleanliness of the common areas could have been cleaner, nicer. The power went out our 2nd night. I noticed around 5am. Weather in ND, in the winter, and we had no heat, it was -15F that night. We did not get notice from staff in any way what the situation was. Needless to say, I am glad we had flashlights on our cellphones so we could get ready for the day. When I went to check out, no staff at the desk, just a bucket for my room keys and a piece of paper to write my name, Rm# and my email address, assuming that would be for an emailed receipt. Not a very good experience.
