The location was ideal—nestled in Arlington, it gave us quick access to historic sites like Arlington National Cemetery and a smooth drive to Mount Vernon. At the same time, the Metro was just a short drive, making it incredibly convenient to get downtown and explore all the major attractions in DC without the hassle of city driving or parking. “This place was a great choice for our visit to DC college campuses, the zoo, and the Cherry Blossom Festival. It’s conveniently located to park and ride the Metro on the red line. Parking was a breeze, the kitchen is pretty well set up for feeding a family (it doesn’t have a blender or kitchen towels at this time and the dishwasher racks are on their last leg), and the furniture is all comfortable. The WiFi signal was not consistently good throughout the house (the living room TV could not keep……

“Hosts were very communicative and helpful! We could not have asked for more perfect hosts. Check in and out were very easy. Beds were all very comfortable. Everything was well-stocked. TV and Internet were great. Plenty of dishes and coffee. Rooms were tastefully decorated but toddler friendly. Location and neighborhood were great, free and easy parking. Our kiddo wants us to buy the place! We hope to stay again. We did not do the wine experience. ”

“We enjoyed our stay at this family-friendly home. The location was perfect—close to the city and easy to get around. We also really appreciated the friendly neighbors.”

“House was clean, well lit, and had spacious rooms including a very large and well-equipped kitchen. The private parking spot accessible from the alley behind the house is very convenient but a bit tricky to pull into. The one issue in the kitchen was that there was no coffee pot, so had to be creative to make coffee. Location was close to groceries and restaurants and very convenient for getting anywhere in DC. There is a very nice remodeled bathroom off one of the bedrooms. The only other issue……

“Everything was wonderful with two small exceptions. There were no oven mitts or salt, pepper, spices etc. to help facilitate our personal cooking. With large family we don’t have the option to go out to eat regularly. There is an Aldi’s less than a mile away, which is great. Also there was not much for rags and kitchen towels etc, for cleaning. ”

“Wonderful stay for a mixed family of 7 for Spring Break in DC!! The house was spacious, slept our group comfortably, and had every amenity we needed. The mattresses were extremely comfortable and there were multiple extra sets of linens for bathing. The house, built in 1906, has been beautifully updated. Each bathroom fully met our needs. Access to public transportation was very simple, just a half block to the metro line that took us all the way into the mall and museums. We were able to……

“This property was more than I could’ve asked for. It was located next to the best restaurants and shops. I parked in the Courthouse garage which was only 10/day. I felt safe walking by myself with my kids at night in the area. Also there was always an Uber close by. Will definitely be coming back!”
