“Friendly staff and clean, spacious room. Not easy to walk there from the rail station. However, One can get there easily through a steel bridge (which was not shown in the map) linking it to the Freeman’s Quoy Centre at the Peninsula, near the Premier Inn Durham. Good and reasonably priced dinner.”
“The building has character as it was old but needs a little TLC. For the price it was worth it and I would stay again. The staff were friendly and the room was clean. ”
“Nice and helpful staff
Overall the facilities are ok but the flushing of the toilet wasn't strong enough
Not many options of restaurants around but you can try using deliveroo to get what you wanna eat ”
“Hotel staff were all excellent, particularly Emma the site manager who helped us when we had a problem with a car charger. The building felt new and well looked after, the room was well appointed and comfortable. I would definitely stay again. ”
“Overall, the room is warm and comfortable although it is relatively small, sufficient for move of one person. The bathroom is large and warm. One drawback is the location is not near to Durham town Center (35 -40 minutes walking distance) and go some slopes before reach the hotel. ”
