“We booked this for a long weekend with the family to watch the eclipse and celebrate my nephew's birthday. The property was just as described; secluded, spacious, and quite charming. We had 6 adults, a 7 year old, and an 80 lb Rottweiler, and there was plenty of room for everyone. “This one is a mixed bag. Parking is easy, last minute rate was very fair. Rooms are roomy with nice furniture and lobby area is very welcoming. But the spring mattress is terribly uncomfortable, the sink drain was backed up, the WiFi wouldn’t connect and the staff is mostly disinterested. Also, we checked in at 2am and were there for all of 9 hours - but had to leave a $50 fee for “incidentals” that they can take up to THREE WEEKS to return? For what, high end room service and a couple spa……
