“Room was very spacious and check-in staff was super nice. We got a welcome drink and excellent recommendations for tours and things to do. Pool access is with reservations but totally worth it and super relaxing. Gorgeous cellar, little shop and art collection. Beautiful breakfast dining room and excellent food selection.”

“The staff (housekeeping, reception, hospitality, even maintenance) were top notch; people who appear to have found their niche in providing a welcoming, comfortable environment. The location and amenities were also great. Being built on the side of a cliff, the view from every room we visited was difficult to beat.
The drawbacks of this hotel are (1) limited free parking (2) a location that’s a bit further from downtown amenities than some other options; requiring a car or using the convenient……

“Lovely atmosphere without any kids. The hotel was fully booked but didn't feel crowded.
The deluxe room was worth it - lovely coffee from the coffee machine and a little bar/fridge & robes.
The location was a short way uphill out of the town but in a nice area and not a long walk for anyone with reasonable fitness, There were plenty of buses. You could walk downhill to a bus stop and get off further uphill on the way back. There was also a hotel minibus into the town.
We had a great stay!
