“Everything was great except for the grill”

“It was great being with family! The place was dated with no outside working lights. The fire alarm and remote control either had no batteries or they didn’t work. We bought batteries. The beds were comfy and the hot water was fabulous for the showers and the bath. It was spacious. It was sad that 4 days before Christmas there was no tree and it wasn’t festive at all. ”

“Tucked away up the side of a mountain overlooking foggy morning treelines. The hot tub was our favorite part, and the kitchen was lovely. It would be an awesome stay in late spring or early summer when we might have spent more time making use of the massive and beautiful deck.”

“My family (husband, me and two adult sons) & German Shepherd stayed here over Thanksgiving. Great location, lane is a bit washed out, but driveway to the house was great. Cottage was cozy and well stocked. Great appliances, great stock of pans, cookware, utensils. Very nice layout - the upstairs with two beds and the downstairs with one. Well stocked with linens, blankets and paper products. Great to not have to pack all of this! As many reviews have said - the place was immaculate and……

“My wife and I arrived for a 3 night stay on Sunday afternoon. Upon arriving we noticed this was more than just a cabin. The lodge is nestled between the mountains in the valley surrounded by trees. Entering the lodge we were greeted with stunning amenities and a well thought out Christmas theme. The inside was spotless. Very spacious with 5 bedrooms. It was so peaceful you can hear a pin drop. “My dad grew up in Huntingdon, and we went for the weekend to clean out his childhood home in preparation to sell it. David and Rosa have the cleanest home that’s such an easy drive right into Huntingdon. The beds were super comfortable and left plenty of room for our family of four adults. We had some trouble with the door keypad, but David was responsive and got us squared away ASAP. I absolutely recommend this as a cozy, clean place that’s convenient to everything. We’ll be back for any future……

“Nice place. Clean, old style authentic cabin in a nice location between Huntingdon and lake Raystown. Great for mountain biking weekend being only 4-5 miles from the main trailhead. Great deck area. Nothing fancy and maybe not beautiful place but just what you need to get away. Host is quick to respond to any text questions. ”
