“loved it”

“This property had almost everything you need. We were traveling from Oregon so we’re a little unhappy we had to buy sheets, towels just for a two night stay. This has always been provided in any short term rental we have booked, it should be required. Great location and parking. Very close to everything. ”

“My wife and I loved everything about this house. It is tucked away the British Cemetery and backs up to a canal running behind the property. The house was very clean and had everything we needed to have an enjoyable stay. It is very private but within walking distance to shops and restaurants. We are already planning our next visit. ”

“This cottage is truly sweet in all aspects. It is located in an area that is close to the main street but far enough away that it is quiet. The sound location is beautiful, we watched the birds every morning while we drank coffee while sitting on the deck. The interior is very nicely decorated in a slightly retro and sophisticated beach vibe. The furniture and the beds are very comfortable. The kitchen had the perfect amount of space, dishes, cooking and serving utensils. The outdoor shower……

“Clean property, with great views and aaesome location. Within a walk or quick bikeride to groceries, multiple resturants, shops, shuttle stops, etc. For me it was the perfect location.”

Musty smell, wasp nest on entry step, dirty furniture, cockroaches, fridge not plugged in, no hair dryer, no broom or vacuum, no AC in master bedroom or bathroom, no cable or internet service - had to call and they did get someone out promptly, deck was horrible - did not want to sit out there, loose boards, screws, dishwasher door wouldn’t close - had to fix it, bought spray to get rid of wasp nest after stung, grill was rusted, divots in house flooring in various spots, no……

“We love Ocracoke, and this is our second time staying at the Net House. We love it! It's small, cozy, simple, and in a great location. It's our favourite place to stay. Only issue with cleanliness was quite a few dead bugs in the shower stall. Otherwise cleanliness was excellent. ”

“While the house is a nice size and has good general amenities, it is a little beaten up and worn for the worse. Shades are broken or don't work, comforters were worn and even dirty, the furniture is a mishmash of different pieces and not well pulled together. Worst of all, the whole place smelled badly fishy when we first walked in and it never went away despite many scented candles etc. The mgt company is nice and tried to help but we left early as the house just wasn't comfortable.”

“Home is ideally located in super quiet neighborhood and has excellent canine amenities including a porch/deck system with locking gates. Outdoor features are strong with highlight being widow’s watch with beautiful water & sunset views. Home is listed as sleeping 8 and is best if 2-3 are children or small people. ”

“Classic wooden house off Back Road. Close enough to walk to everything, far enough to be peaceful. Warm stained wood throughout. Snug but comfortable for up to 4 (one queen and two twins). Huge live oaks shade the yard and deck. Looking forward to returning.”
