There are horses on the property and we have someone who comes out 2x a day to feed them. By renting the property you and all in your party are acknowledging the Illinois Equine Activity Liability Act and releasing all liability to Endress Road Farm LLC in consideration of the grant of right to use Endress Road Farm LLC grounds.
Due to horses present on the property and fun stuff like trails, canoes, access to fishing, streams, wildlife, wood burning stove, fire pits, etc. our insurance company requires an additional hold harmless agreement to be signed. Each guest will be provided an indemnification/hold harmless agreement via Docusign which outlines the Illinois Equine Activity Liability Act that must be signed prior to arrival.
Due to being situated in a valley, The Farm has VERY limited cell phone signal and all calls from the house REQUIRE Wi-Fi calling to be enabled. Starlink high-speed internet is available and allows for multiple devices to connect, call, stream and Zoom! without buffering. (70MB download / 80MB upload).
Power outages are common in our rural area and Endress Farm is powered by a whole-home backup generator. Please note that during lightning/thunderstorms WiFi can be interrupted for the duration of the storm.
All barns are off-limits to guests during their stay. (There's nothing exciting in them anyways!)
Quiet hours are between 11PM and 8am. Even though our neighbors are not close, loud noise travels down the valley so please be respectful.
No firearms, fireworks, ATVs or other motorized vehicles are allowed on the farm.
There is a RING security camera mounted near the front door, above the garage, front yard and barn areas. These are not actively monitored during guest stays and are solely for security purposes.

These will commonly make their way into the screened in porch and at times, the home, especially during the spring and fall.
Although we have monthly pest control service, you will come in contact with live or dead bugs during your stay. We do our best to prevent this, however it's a fact of life living in the country.
If you or any of your guests are uncomfortable with natural creatures, The Farm may not the right choice for you. You will not be reimbursed for issues involving natural creatures or their byproducts. If you come across any of them, please message us through AirBnB immediately and we will work to rectify the situation.
