I booked this room 3 weeks or so prior. I also received a welcome email with instructions and directions and that they were looking forward to
Host us. When I arrived to check in the said they did not have my reservation when I showed them my confirmation, they said that the person that schedules the reservation on that site (Expedia) didn’t communicate to them which is why they didn’t have my room. I had four adults and four kids to think about and was planning on staying there because it caught our attention and the hotel looked unique which is why we booked it. I assume he called his managers and they were trying to get us a room but they only had one room with one bed and that was not gonna work. After I explain to him that this is not my problem it was the person who made the reservation who failed to communicate to you guys, so they have to help me figure out a solution. One thing I did appreciate that they had called a hotel nearby and booked the hotel for us without paying another cent. Overall I would have loved to stay there, because again the hotel unique yet I was very disappointed to have to travel hours to a hotel where you think of a place and when you arrived, they say they don’t have your information.
