“Let me start off by saying the owners were great. They are in the process of remodeling other than being able to tell the difference between old and new you would never have known it. It was quiet. They did not have any building materials laying around or trash. When we pulled up they both greeted us and let us know that they were there and available if we needed anything. Upon entering the room that they had us down for I realized it was not the room that Expedia showed on their website. When……

“So this place was hard to rate. The lobby and front were very nice. The room was older and a bit run down but clean. We were in the back of the building and there was a large party in the parking lot. It appeared to be a family reunion or something like that, that was part of the hotel owners family. Lots of people but they were respectful. And they quieted down after 10 pm. We did have to ask for hand towels and wash cloths. The person did not seem to know what we were asking for and sent hand……

“What a delightful getaway! Park like forested grounds, amazing saltwater pool and hot tub, full service on site spa and a comfortable library with fireplace, pool table and games available. They seemed to be understaffed during our stay, but we still enjoyed it immensely.”

“No elevator so anyone who has difficulty with stairs needs to request a main floor room. Building is adjacent to a delightful stream. Patio tables and chairs are available at ground level next to the stream and on the rear main floor patio. Front desk rep was very friendly and helpful. The room was rather dated and needs much better lighting. Bathroom fan and heating units were noisy. Good quality and size of towels. Keurig coffee maker is appreciated. Bed was comfy with good pillow selection……

“We had an amazing stay at Desert Flower Hotel! We stayed in Room 7, which included a private hot tub that was perfect for soaking in and relaxing after our adventurous days exploring Taos. One of the highlights of our stay was the homemade breakfast each morning. Everything was delicious, especially the homemade blueberry muffins. The only concern we had was that when we opened the drawers, there was noticeable dust inside. This caused us to cough and sneeze a couple of times, though it settled quickly afterward. Aside from that, everything else was comfortable and we had a good experience overall.”

“Cozy und cute, ein besonderer Platz, abseits und ruhig gelegen, nur einige Minuten ins Zentrum. Eine unglaublich ruhige und gemütliche Atmosphäre. Das Frühstück wurde individuell und liebevoll zubereitet und so was habe ich noch nie irgendwo weltweit bekommen. Ein paar Spiders am Zimmer gehören halt dazu in der Natur. Natürlich nicht zu vergleichen mit einem Luxushotel, aber das soll es auch nicht sein. AWESOME!”
