The woman on the evening staff was excellent. She was polite, knowledgeable and helpful.
The property however needs help, mostly in the form investment, upkeep, and more staff. Maid service was nonexistent, towels were missing, and so was a lamp between the beds. The bathroom had a broken tile that seemed to be caused by flexing of a weak subfloor. The floor in the room hadn’t been carefully vacuumed in a while. One of the lobby front doors was missing an inside handle. Shabby chairs with dirty arms in the lobby. The 2nd floor had an incomplete space that might have been planned as a laundry area, but it looked like it had been in that condition for a while. Next to that was a door with several holes drilled in it, secured by a padlock and hasp. This was clearly after a break in, but was poorly repaired. I have no idea what was kept in the room.
The place appeared to be in a fairly safe area, and a check with a local crime tracker website confirmed it. I didn’t have breakfast there due to early morning appointments. All in all the place has potential, but the management and/or owner needs an old fashioned counseling session.
