“Beautiful setting on Appleton City Lake. Cottages are right on the lake and it was fun to wake up to the mist rising from the lake, rooster crowing in the distance. “The man running the hotel was very rude. He tried giving us a dirty room. The beds were slept in, dirty towels in the bathroom, trash in the trash cans and dead bugs on the floor. The air conditioning didn’t work right and the people next to us said the same. This would be a gold mine if they had the right management and put new mattresses in. There’s absolutely no reason to treat your customers like this. Maybe saying hello and a smile on your face would help. ”
