Has a good selection of food and drink. I had the best fish and chips here ive had in quite a while but the menu is large enough t cover pub grub or a good steak or curry.

“An absolute fantastic stay, couldn't of asked for a better quality hotel for the price at last minute. The communication from the hotel was perfect as we were checking in late and the reception had phoned to check what time to make sure that no requirements were needed.

“Excellent stay for our trip to The New Forest. The room was cosy, had everything that was needed from table n chairs, two comfy chairs, very comfy bed and pillows. Iron and board, towels, wash flannel, all wash/cleaning equipment, mini cooker, toaster, pint milk in fridge. Everything was perfect. I would say though that coyld have done with a better iron as it didn't seem to iron properly. Apart from that the stay was excellent. Would definately recommend. ”

“My husband and I stayed at the White Lion Inn for one night while en route to visit friends, and we couldn’t have been more impressed. Despite seeing some negative reviews prior to our stay, we found them completely unfounded.
The pub is a stunning example of a place run by people who truly love what they do. The warm, welcoming atmosphere made us feel at home instantly. Booking through Expedia was straightforward, and the room rate was very reasonable.

“A pleasant stay in an attractive country pub
The room was spacious and thoughtfully decorated. The bed comfortable. The food was good especially the breakfast. It is in a pretty village good for walking outside. Plenty of parking.
Would like to see double glazing on the windows as right by a road. However this isn’ta problem at night as very quiet and peaceful.
The room was exceptional with vaulted beams and chandeliers.
A lovely bathroom with pleasant toiletries but the shower shelf on……
