“The only con regarding the property is that it is on a small block and parking is scarce. Otherwise the property and stay was wonderful. Joel was a great host: very helpful, and accommodating. Walking through the door, the air is fragrant, the decor is welcoming and the property is clean. Brick wall leading you upstairs, new kitchen appliances, and a fenced backyard. Minor details such as tissue art in both bathrooms made you appreciate the hospitality. Will definitely book & visit again.”

“Family cane into town for the holidays and we really dont have much room so we went rented a home. Everything was great about the house the only thing i got nervous about was a crack in the bathroom ceiling so I sent a picture and Im sure they will take care of it. I didnt really notice until the end that there were no instructions for check out. “We had a great time on our stay. We only wish we had more time to enjoy the place and the area. We flew in on a redeye for a wedding and the flew back a day later. Most of the time in the place was spent sleeping, but it was a cute and cozy place. We walked to get coffee and brunch. There is a casino right around the block. Lots of stuff in walking distance. Would definitely stay again if ever back in the area.”

“We traveled to Philly for my son’s 16th birthday. The house was absolutely perfect! Everyone had their own space and we were able to gather in the living room comfortably to watch movies. All activities were within a 15 minute drive and we always felt safe in the area. The rooftop view was beautiful and a great place to wind down at the end of the night, read quietly and watch the sunrise. “My friends and family stayed for the Philly Marathon. This was perfect because it had beds for everyone! It was great to have everyone be able to sit and relax. Fishtown was great to be away from the chaos of downtown, but still easy to get there. Parking was a bit tricky and we ended up getting a ticket ($27). Also, it seemed like the dishwasher was not functioning so we had to fill the water by hand. Other than those two things, the place was great!”

“This is a fantastic use of an old space. Very conveniently located just off the subway system, the neighborhood isn't the nicest BUT the house is fantastic. Wide open spaces with plenty of comfortable chairs, beds and couches, the extra showers and eating areas were awesome and there was an outdoor back patio that made for a great reading area. All and all a fantastic stay, we cancelled evening plans just to hang out in the VRBO and enjoy some family time.”
