The only thing was we were not able to get a fast response from the property manager on things we needed to know but he did respond it was a delay I do believe he said he was out of town but other than everything was great”

“The property starts with a beautiful drive through trees. Each cabin is secluded and our cabin was lovely. We were across from the rec room and the pool. We played a game of pool in the rec room and took a swim. We were unsure of the pool hours, but we still enjoyed our time. ”

“I had a class in Anna, Tx about 5 minutes from Van Alstyne and found this listing. It was reasonably priced and after some research the town looked quite charming. I invited my girlfriend to come with me and she accepted. This is a charming little cottage with an open floor plan. It has a very comfortable bed, living area with futon, dining/kitchen area with an oven/range, microwave, full size refrigerator and even a Keurig with lots of coffee. “My family stayed at this house to attend a wedding nearby. The location was serene. The property itself is poorly maintained, with trash and tools strewn about the yard. The horses in adjacent pasture showed physical signs of neglect (one had a festering wound behind the ear, from a bridle that was ill fitted, put on wrong, and clearly left on the animal for far too long). The house itself was nice enough, and clean enough, but by no means spotless. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen……

“We had mostly everything we needed. Clean and comfortable. Super close to university to participate in weekend activities and then a super short drive. It will help if you have some toiletries and extra things (toilet paper, salt, butter) even if it is for an extra charge, so you don’t have to go out again. Other than that it was perfect.
