“We stayed for just one night in the way home from London over Xmas and the room was small but very modern and warm we stayed in room 3 but unfortunately the from door was very noisey when people coming in and out as it had to be banged and also the people upstairs seemed to have been walking a lot and the floor boards were very creaky. I did inform the owner and I’m sure he will look into this. It’s a lovely area very quaint but very quiet with only a pub across the road which was fine to eat……

“Good cheap hotel. A bit tired looking in places but clean and comfortable. Plenty of parking, good WiFi, usual tea/coffee/ biscuits which were topped up every day, friendly and helpful staff. Bathroom with a walk in shower which I much prefer to a bath. The only issue for me was there was no desk/table to work at but laptops are called laptops for a reason! Room was cleaned and bed made up for me every day which a lot of hotels don’t do these days.”
