“PROS: The location is wonderful, set off a quiet road just outside of Stowe. Aside from some minor changes to the interior, the listing was very accurate. A cozy fire pit down by the stream was wonderful. Overall, the location was exactly what we were looking for. CONS: Did not appear to be cleaned after previous guests, or at least not fully. Damp laundry was sitting in the washer, and the linens for the main bed hadn't been cleaned. The gas fire pit was out of propane. ”

“It’s quaint and charming cabin. Our first time to Vermont, seeing the colors and Stowe. Great location. Beds were very comfortable. Everything was nice and clean. Easy to find and check in. Maude was quick to communicate and gave recommendations that were helpful. A welcoming gift of pancake mix and Vermont maple syrup was waiting on the counter for us. I would definitely stay again and would recommend Maude’s place. ”

“I have never given 5 stars in every area for a VRBO before, but this place deserves every star! So clean, so neat, so relaxing, and so hospitable! This is an amazing modern yurt with everything you need for a relaxing getaway! It is close to several towns but only if you want to leave the quiet and relaxing back porch! I will definitely be booking this Yurt again soon, after I can convince myself to leave in the first place :)”

“We loved staying in this cozy cabin! We had a bit of a hiccup with check in (the door code didn’t work and Vacasa was difficult to get ahold of) but once we were in, we really enjoyed our stay! The cabin was clean and comfortable. The kids loved making smores in the fire pit and our dog loved sleeping in front of the fireplace. We would definitely stay here again!”

“This is a spacious house in a beautiful location right on the shore of Lake Champlain. There is limited access right behind the house where we were able to take pictures of the comet and gorgeous sunsets. There are many books to be read and a variety to choose from.
