“This is a home that was built around the 1940's so you are getting character more than the most modern home. We stayed here for our last night of our Alaskan vacation. It is close to downtown and to the airport. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. At first, I was a little nervous about not having A/C in the middle of July. However, I didn't have anything to worry about. The owner has fans in the windows and the room got very cool. We all slept well. She definitely has a green thumb and……

“We had 3 couples and we all enjoyed the inside of the cabin. It is centrally located in Girdwood and it was easy to go where ever we wanted to from the cabin. The neighbors are close. The view from the back windows and back porch was stunning! The only thing we did not like was the large step down from the back door to the back porch. We would have all been in and out that door a lot but we only went out a couple times because the step really seemed dangerous. One of the couples in our group……

“We are a family of 5 with teens and a tween. We were here in winter when there was about 4 feet of snow. The last night a moose was munching on the trees across the street! When they say stairs are required they mean inside: it’s 3 floors. Two bedrooms and a bath on the first and a master bed and bath on the 3rd (really 2nd is just a landing) while there is a dishwasher and w/d, supplies were not available so if you plain to use, bring your own. It is close to most things you will want to do……
