The hotel is nice in general, good location, nice facilities, clean and spacious room, quality breakfast, and a not too big but approachable pool and gym at the top of the building with great view of Dusseldorf. The only thing not so satisfactory was the check-in experience. I arrived on Sunday morning around 11am, and was told to wait for one hour before the room's ready. But one hour later when I approached the reception, I was told that the room wouldn't be available until 2pm. So I had to wait for another 2 hours, and throughout the 3-hour waiting time, no staff ever asked me if I need anything or arranged any service. Then when I checked in, I was let into a room with two single beds putting together, instead of a king-size bed I booked for. I had to come down again to change to another room. This time, I was not registered as eligible for pool/gym privileges, which my room type was entitled to. I found it out only two days later when I tried to use the facilities. An Asian-looking lady at the reception who can speak Chinese was not so helpful who I think caused most of the issues.
