We enjoyed this beautiful cabin. Our favorite memories are conversations in the hot tub, morning coffee by the babbling brook behind the cabin, and watching a meteor shower from the back deck. We also loved nearby Idaho Spring and the Blue Mountain Sky Byway.

Mill Creek Cabin

Our stay was nice and the location was just what we were looking to find. One of the bedrooms had a bed that was almost 4ft high and difficult to get in and out of if you are less than 6ft tall. Plenty of space and the back deck is really nice with the hot tub.

We went on an adults only ski trip with 6 adults. The two bedrooms and pull out couch were great! The hot tub was great after a day of skiing and surprisingly held the 104° temperature. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the cooking supplies you could need and the gas grill works great! Highly recommend!!

This cabin suited us well for our stay. We were gone so much doing activities, which were all about 1 hour away we really only had time to sleep here. We had some trouble with the hot water heater, we didn't realize the pilot light needed to be lit for a couple of days. Other than that it was a good stay and the hot tub was wonderful

Great Property With Fabulous Amenities

Our family get-together was prompted by a grandchild's 17th birthday. I rented the cabin while living in Oregon so wasn't sure what I'd be getting. This place had a fabulous location with the creek in the back yard. Two fireplaces, two bathrooms, all decorated upscale. The jacuzzi was a favorite attractions. Everything you could think of was there - spices to cook with, plenty of towels, bird food to feed the birds and chipmunks. Pellet Stove, Gas grill, seating for all of us, plenty of board games, books, hair dryers, first aid kit, brochures on things to do, plenty of books, We had a blast!

Nice place and good location. Only a few issues.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. The cabin had plenty of room and the location was perfect for access to ski rentals, skiing and Idaho Springs. The cabin had everything we needed and checking in and out was easy! We were able to park in the garage which was great. There were only a few things that could have been better. The most disappointing thing was the hot tub. The water level was low and the temperature only ever got up to 83 degrees. For us, the biggest factors when deciding where to stay were price, location, and a hot tub. Not being able to enjoy the hot tub after a day of skiing was a bummer. The other issues weren't near as big of a deal but we also had some trouble getting the TV to work and when we arrived we had to shovel the snow to enter the house and shovel the snow on the back deck to get to the hot tub and grill. If it wasn't for a few issues, our stay would have been perfect.

The property was just amazing. We loved that it snowed it made the cabin so much more enjoyable. The creek in the back sounded and looked amazing with the snow and ice. We had a visit from a fox that came right to the back door. Would definitely recommend 4x4 vehicles to get to the property in winter. We want to come back for the summer.

Very quiet and cozy. We loved opening the windows to listen to the stream that is right outside the back porch. I rent from VRBO quite a bit and the one thing that I was so grateful for at this house was the ziplock baggies for our daily outings. .It’s the little things!! This property was great and hopefully we can visit again one day.
