The location of this hotel is within walking to many Dublin sights. Staff were very friendly and the breakfast had a good selection. The best part for me was the cozy king bed... like sleeping in a fort. Very small rooms but we didn't come to Dublin to stay in our room. As with most places in Dublin, prices for everything were high. A better parking rate would help. We were a little nervous about the people hanging around outside asking for money etc. and the window blinds we kept shut. I wish they would find a better solution for the fan in the bathroom as it never worked well and made the room moist at times, yet the air conditioner would could not be lowered to clear the air (as was suggested by staff). It just would not stay on.

This hotel was fantastic! Perfect location. They also helped me (and kept my luggage safe) after the airline lost my luggage and I had left the country. This team went above and beyond even after I had checked out. Can't say enough great things. Hotel was quiet, safe and well kept.

A clean, comfortable, friendly hotel with tons of character. I love staying at the Marlin Hotel for it's central location, but also because how comfortable the rooms are and how great the hotel's amenity and staff is. For a hotel restaurant the menu is pretty diverse and uniformly tasty, and I appreciate the Horse Cart cafe and working stations in the lobby. The photobooth is a fun touch, too!

Check-in was excellent - all handled with ease by the staff. I arrived from my international flight a bit early. They took my bag, tagged it and put it in storage till check-in time. All with a great smile and happy to please. On-site restaurant and bar were great. Coffee, pastry kiosk in the lobby is so conveniently located and always greeted with a smile by the staff. Hotel was located to walking distance to everything and I mean everything. A great stay. My room was extremely comfortable. The bed was great and I liked the extra large pillows. Well done Marlin staff, well done. Will return.

Overall stay was consistent with the 4-star quality. The only major complaint is the bathroom light turns off automatically every 10 min or so if the sensor doesn’t detect any movement (eg when you are behind the shower curtains) at the most awkward moment! Paid for a superior King Room Got a postage stamp room Double bed only and no place to open suitcase except on floor since room was so small. Suitcase barely fit on floor. Everyone had to wait until 3 pm to get their rooms. Given out by a computer? Room was 506 on check in June 27th
