I was told after having a $64 paid receipt & bank statement that my card was declined and that I would need to cancel my booking and re-book. After chatting with Expedia, it was confirmed that they were trying to double charge my card. Expedia cancelled & refunded my booking, and when I went back inside I was told the original booking was cancelled. When I was ready to re book a room, they gave me a new price of $103. When I asked why, they claimed expedia has their own third party prices. Immediately the Second Gentleman stepped up and offered me the room at a rate of $70, negotiating against himself. Nothing about the interaction seemed right. I explained how sketchy the entire situation sounded, and promptly left. Never again.
