“We were given the ground floor room to stay in a sold-out hotel. We did not mind the lack of view, mostly because the ceiling was so tall, which made the room extra spacious. Unfortunately there was NO HOT WATER in the evening. Front desk was apologetic but rather defensive: "Nothing we can do," "Wait until the morning," and the best was "We have 132 rooms." All the years I have spent staying in hotels bigger than this, I have never experienced lack of hot water and such poor explanation. Google……

“Unfortunately this was not a pleasure trip. The hotel was very accommodating while I went back and forth to KU Med Center and my hotel room to change or sleep. My friend had been in ICU and had two surgeries during the week I stayed. I appreciate that the staff was friendly.”
