“The property is updated and well maintained. The owners greeted us. They are very friendly. We were shown the house amenities then to our room. Beautiful waterfront property. Fire pit. Multiple docks. Canoe and kayaks. Very nice breakfast. Not your typical bacon and eggs. Fresh fruit, homemade biscuits and jams, eggs, breads and more. We very much enjoyed it. ”

“The cottage was old, but well-equiped, comfortable and spacious. There are two negative aspects: 1. proximity to the road so that it was noisy at times; 2. cleanliness was generally good though we collected a lot of sand when we swept the floors and the toilet seat had not been throughly cleaned.”

“The place is not as it is described and full of dirt and black molds plus strange insects on beds. The sheets are not clean at all and you have to wash them be careful. I would give zero star if I could as I am really disappointed. We had to sleep in the car”

“1 week before the check-in i have contacted the host and asked him if there is a black mold in the house but he said no becasue one of the reviews were showing pictures with mold on the walls.!He basically didnt tell the truth for me not to cancel the booking.
Its unsafe to sleep, molds and mouse drops make this place number one failure in hospitality industry. I would like expedia.ca to conduct an investigation around this property as i heard the owner or the host removes the reviews!!……

“We were 3 friends who spent 2 nights at this location. We had a most relaxing and peaceful time. The location is not too far from the GTA and overlooks a beautiful lake.The unit was extremely well-equipped and comfortable. Joan met us when we arrived and took us through everything in the apartment, so we were well informed. The hosts were wonderful. Will definitely recommend to our friends.”

“Very clean and quiet, which is exactly what we were looking for. Had a really great time with our friends. Would definitely recommend for a simple and very quiet getaway! Beautiful deck to sit and eat overlooking the pond. The host was very nice and was prompt with her responses for all of the questions we had. Will definitely return!”

“This is our second time staying at this lovely cottage. And we know there will be more to come in the near future.
It is truly a hidden Shangri-La in the midst of the cottage country. Well secluded, yet with all the modern luxury and convenience.
