“Given the ratings/reviews & my experience with similar caliber properties around the world, I was disappointed in certain things. The security guard at the front gate of the property was extremely rude. Didn't welcome us but asked what we were doing there. Our driver was very taken back by his behavior & said he's never seen anyone so rude at this establishment. Two days prior to arrival, I was sent an email form w/ one of the questions asking when we'd be arriving. I selected the noon-2pm……

“Die Zimmer im Hotel sind einfach, wer Luxus braucht, wird das hier nicht finden. Ich brauchte den Luxus nicht, ich wollte mich entspannen und habe es wirklich genossen. Der Pool ist großartig, es ist wahnsinnig ruhig in der Anlage, sogar die Straßenbauarbeiten derzeit waren erträglich. Die deutsch-schweizerische Hotel —Leitung ist großartig, extrem hilfsbereit und immer freundlich. Man versucht dem Gast immer zu 100 % alles zu geben. “My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Pagua Bay House. The property is close to the airport and has convenient parking. The room was clean, the bed was soft, the shower was huge, the pool was refreshing and everything sits on a beautiful cliff overlooking the ocean. The onsite restaurant and bar had great food and drinks as well. We will return for sure. Highly recommend!!”
