"We enjoyed our stay at this lovely family bach in Ngakuta bay. Location was great, right on the water, Ngakuta loop trail, and the link trail. We enjoyed the toys and game room. This is a classic kiwi bach and you need to bring your own sheets and towels. We did not hear back when we inquired about the possibility of renting linens. The property is what we expected from a kiwi back and we really enjoyed our stay. "

"The stay at Eliza’s cottage was a whimsical experience from the beautiful garden to the home made breakfast breads and jams our host our did herself. Our kids also loved a splash in the pool in the afternoons and picking lemons off the many fruit trees in the garden. What a beautiful place to stay while enjoying the lovely wine region of NZ. "

"Firstly, the staff were awesome, welcoming smiling and very helpful. The location of hotel was perfect and easy walking to Te Papa, waterfront, and public bus transport. We found a couple disappointing cleaning details, which we will make hotel aware of. However would certainly stay again. Especially if 3 of us, to have separate room each. Was fantastic. "

"Astelia is very central so walking distance to all the amazing things to see, do and eat in Wellington CBD. We had a premium studio which was a good size, clean, had a washing machine/dryer, Nespresso coffee machine etc. All the products were eco friendly. "A very nice modern apartment, have all the facilities including washing machine, dryer , it also has a spa bath , although we didn’t use it. Very good location, and it is also very quiet at night although our room is next to the street."

"we booked this hotel after having to relocate from another hotel in the middle of the night (at the last minute). We were very pleasantly surprised - the location is very close to everything, so extremely walkable. We were very happy to have an interior room due to all of the noise in the city centre as it was Cuba Dupa weekend (we don’t know if it would’ve been noisy in the exterior rooms. But we were very appreciative to have a quiet room). we ate in the on site restaurant for breakfast on one day - it was competitively priced versus other breakfast/brunch locations. we would recommend others to stay here. If you are using the on-site parking facilities, we recommend having a smaller car rather than an SUV or pick up!"
