“It’s a wonderful place for a couple or a family with a kid. Comfortable, clean, well taken care of. A nice welcome package (wine, brown bread, breakfast supplies). The road to the driveway is quite narrow, but take it slow and no problem. The amenities are just as described. We would definitely stay again. ”

“We had a wonderful stay at Barbara´s cabin. We got a lovely welcome gift for breakfast. Fresh bread, milk, eggs, juice and marmelade. Delicious! Sometimes we were visited by the two dogs. So sweet. We covered many kilometers every day to discover the beautiful landscape of Ireland and always looked forward to the cozy warm cabin in the evening. “This place and the surrounding area are amazing in my opinion. I learned the hard way, but you deff need a car in this area. The towns all around are cute and have a nice old school charm. And Lismore castle and gardens are amazing. Just wish the lord and lady would allow tours of the castle.”

She is the most gracious, charming, funniest, kindest, most helpful and accommodating host we’ve ever dealt with in over 20 years of this type traveling. This woman could/should give lessons on how to run a hospitality business. This is an amazing part of Ireland and this is a good, central base to explore from.”
