“This place and the surrounding area are amazing in my opinion. I learned the hard way, but you deff need a car in this area. The towns all around are cute and have a nice old school charm. And Lismore castle and gardens are amazing. Just wish the lord and lady would allow tours of the castle.”

“Owner was in contact straight with a very extensive information package running to several pages. He also contacted us by TELEPHONE directly from the USA! The booklet emphasised the wooden floors (several times) as also he did (several times) which was a tad OTT (or maybe just tor us standoffish Brits). The irish contact however was really helpful and left the key in an agreed place for us. When we arrived, we were not quite sure which cottage was ours so a sign might be useful. Upon arrival……

“Great location, very very beautiful. The pod was smaller than expected, but most of it was there. For the money you pay, I would expect a bit more small things like a candle on the table, place to cook. The coffee machine was not working and it was not super clean, there were coffee marks next to the bed. For the rest, I would recommend people checking out this place as the area and the views are amazing!”

“There's absolutely nothing we don't like about the place. Perfect location, enough room for the whole family and spotlessly clean. Keep up the good work.”

“There is not much going on in Fermoy, but it is possible to drive to some major attractions such as the national park if you don’t mind a bit of a drive. The house is very tastefully decorated and well equipped, but it is very small and the beds are listed as queens. If you are coming from America, please note this means full. Not a lot of room for suitcases, but the listing clearly stated how small it was. Overall acute little place, but not really in a destination spot.”

“We didn’t really need a place this large just for the two of us but the pictures sold us and the location - surrounded by farmland - just added to the charm. Definitely would rent again and will bring friends next time. ”

“Inga met us upon our arrival and gave helpful suggestions on things to do locally. The couch was very comfortable and the wood burning stove was most welcome on a cold night! ”

“Die schöne Ferienwohnung mit zwei Schlafzimmern und zwei Badezimmern war der ideale Ausgangspunkt für die Erkundung der Halbinsel Hook. Die Städte Wexford und Waterford sind mit dem Auto schnell erreichbar. Das nahe gelegene New Ross bietet alles für den täglichen Bedarf und einige Sehenswürdigkeiten.Die Vermieter sind fraundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.”
