Step inside Commodore 1 and you’ll find a beautifully decorated rental that you’ll want to frequent again and again! There’s plenty of space to lay out and relax in the living room, and you’ll have a gorgeous view of the water outside of the large bay windows, along with plenty of natural light during the summer months. You’ll find the back door leading outside right off the living room, along with the dining room table and kitchen. The kitchen has everything you need to make a homemade meal or you can enjoy some take out at the dining room table. The first bedroom offers a king size bed while the second has a queen size bed, making this rental perfect for a visiting family of four to enjoy! The first bathroom offers a shower while the second has a shower and tub combo, good for bathing small children while here on your stay! GREAT condo! We LOVE staying here. This was our second stay for girls weekend trip. And we will be back soon for another one! Only problem we did have was fireplace would not shut off :( BUT that won't stop us from staying again! LOVE THIS CONDO! and its location is perfect!

Nice Stay
Overall a beautiful property and perfect place to stay. The only downfalls are the bed in the master is super noisy and seems to dip in a lot and the property seems to be going through updates? so trim is missing giving a shoddy appearance. Would def stay again though.

Please replace the king bed
The king bed was so noisy we woke each other up every time we rolled over. We enjoyed the rest of the condo but that bed will keep us from coming back.

Great for Whale Watching
The location is perfect for amazing views of the bay, as well as walking distance to the shops, restaurants and other fun, touristy things. You can also walk over to some rock cliffs for even more panoramic ocean views.

Beautiful views
This was a comfortable space with beautiful views. The trash was hard to find the last day and the TV in the master bedroom did not work (needed better instructions ). The beds were comfortable and there was a great kitchen for breakfast meals.

Wonderful for whale watching
Excellent location, great view of the bay with lots of whales. The kitchen was well stocked with everything to cook with. The unit appears to be in the process of being updated, but overall a pleasant experience.

Beautiful place, plenty of room, very clean, had everything we needed. The view was perfect, the weather was perfect, it was the best three days I’ve spent in the last three years!!!

We were not told it was under construction, It was filthy and dangerous. There were spaces in the floor where I tripped several times, the wall had holes everywhere with bugs coming in and out

We had the best location in all of Depoe Bay. We were able to watch the whales everyday and had a great view of the ocean.

The Commodore
This property is badly in need of repair. The living room carpet was old and dirty, and the kitchen flooring falling apart - one pc. of the wood was missing and other places have been "repaired" with duct tape! The furniture in the living room is old, shabby and smelly. The dishwasher seemed to be falling apart. No light above the sink. The bed in the smaller room was creaky and uncomfortable. The larger bed was ok. The dresser in the larger room was missing some of the knobs and one drawer was stuck shut. The piece smelled funny. The bathrooms did appear clean and there were lots of fluffy white towels which was very nice. The curtain on the long window at the front door did not have a working tension rod at the bottom and every time we opened the door, the curtain blew outside. One of the faucets in the larger bathroom sprayed water when in use. A lot of these things would take very little time and money to repair. The place appeared to have been neglected. We were very disappointed for only the second time ever since we have been using VRBO.

Condo had a nice view, but was worn....carpet was stained & worn, holes in laminate in kitchen floor, duct tape use to secure flooring ...the cloth furniture was DIRTY, and washing machine smelled. Overall a good location, but the place needs new carpet, new flooring & new furniture....the weather was perfectly clear, & the temperature made our stay enjoyable. The condo, NOT so much. Owners could update the condo for about $2500-$3000 and could make it NICER.

3 day stay
I never got an email to give me the info for the codes etc, and she discovered there was a problem with the computer. I called the day of the arrival. She gave me the code, but I had to ask for the address of the place as it's no were on the website when you sign up, and what our room # was. Expect to struggle to find things like the router for the email. The electrical is confusing, there is a hidden switch by the fireplace that turns off half the outlets. The lights are hard to figure out, how and where to turn them on in the kitchen and living room. The carpet is very worn and bunched up, the mattresses are very old and hard. The 1st room is a box spring with a foam pad on it. Older furniture, which is okay, but some stains that could have been taken care of. Windows were dirty. The freezer smelled like fish. It wasn't filthy, it was vacuumed, bathrooms were clean, etc, but just getting very worn and stained and not much attention to detail. We found an old towel, on the floor that was rolled up and left there, and some dried food on the table. Just not the best, but not the worst either The view and location are amazing. For that, we'd come again.

Had a blast and the rental was amazing. Only issue was garage was messed up and couldn't find parking for second vehicle. Also got wrong directions for trash which is across the street not at end of building but over all great service and rental and location
