「Lovely quain pub for meals & drinks hosts & staff were excellent & very helpful. Restaurant & bar had a great choice & reasonably priced. Rooms were small chalet stule adjacent to the pub, comfortable with parking adjacent to the challet making it easy. Will certainly use again if in the area. 」

「The Stables is a wonderful place to stay, particularly for access to Alton Towers. The private Japanese hot tub is a brilliant addition to the room, which was bath temperature and ready for use on arrival. The rooms are well furnished and clean. Complimentary soft drinks and fresh milk are a lovely touch thst add to the experience. 「Great place to use as a base and to sleep while exploring or in our case visting alton towers. Rooms were comfy and clean but could do with a lick of paint. Baths are very slippey and should include a bath mat. Staff are friendly, restaurant downstairs is. Wry good for breakfast dinner and drinks. 」

「Really lovely property and great evening staff offering a really warm welcome. The morning staff didn't seem quite as enthusiastic but maybe that was just the time of day!? The facilities lose a star because the breakfast is not included and can be very expensive if you include a couple of coffees, orange juice, cereal and cooked breakfast. Great stay overall though.」

「Fantastic place to stay food fantastic so was stafe and service .rooms maybe a wee bit to warm .also our room was right above a generator but it did settle latter in the night .didnt like the step at the bathroom quite dangerous .alarge mirror in the bathroom would have been Lovley putting all that a side i will be back and i will be recommending it to freinds .」

「A lovely break in the Peak District. The hotel is warm and comfortable with a great restaurant and fantastic food. The service was exceptional. The only downside was the tired room and especially the bathroom that we stayed in. But I would recommend this hotel and would happily stay again. 」
